The disruption that impacted Square for Retail on the Square Register has been addressed. Affected Sellers can now update their Square Register to 6.39.1b2 (if no action is taken the update will occur automatically during the nightly update process) to address it. We understand how important it is for all of our services to be running for your business, and our Engineering team is actively discussing how to prevent future disruptions like this one. Our engineers have identified a disruption impacting Square for Retail accessibility on the Square Register. Impacted Sellers would not be able to proceed after the initial Welcome message. At this time, we recommend removing internet connection by unplugging and replugging the ethernet. If the situation persists, please reach out to our Customer Success team for further assistance.
