Identified - Our engineering team confirmed the Sales Reporting data is correct. Some Android devices show "This device only" filter by default. Please check the Device filter and select "All devices" if you notice any irregularities.

Investigating - We are getting multiple reports of Square Register, Square Terminal, & Android devices showing incorrect sales reporting data within the application. The Point of Sale app is defaulting to "this device only" instead of all devices which is making it appear like there are irregularities in sales reporting.

This issue can be resolved by changing the reporting filters from "this device only" to "all devices".

Update - We have resolved the earlier issue we saw where some Square Readers connected to first-generation Square Stands via the USB dock became disconnected when payments were attempted.

Our engineers have applied a fix. Impacted accounts will need to to close the Square app and re-open it to activate the fix.

Monitoring - We have identified an issue causing some Square Readers to disconnect from first-generation Square Stands when tap or chip payments are attempted. The issue appears to be restricted to card readers connected to Square Stand via the USB dock.

Our engineers have applied a fix - if you are experiencing this issue, please fully close the Square app and re-open it to have the fix activated on your Square account. This should resolve the issue, though we'll continue to monitor the situation until we can confirm this is working for all impacted sellers.

Investigating - We're receiving reports of Square Readers disconnecting from first-generation Square Stands when tap payments are attempted. The issue appears to be restricted to card readers connected to Square Stand via the USB dock.

As a temporary workaround, we recommend sellers experiencing this issue connect their Square reader to the Square app on their iPad wirelessly via Bluetooth. You will first need to remove the Square Reader from the dock, then connect it via the Square app per the instructions at https://squareup.com/help/au/en/article/5639-set-up-the-square-reader-for-contactless-and-chip .

Resolved - Square Point of Sale and Square for Restaurants versions 5.94 are now available via the Apple App Store. Updating your app to 5.94 will resolve the issue we saw where notes added to Open Tickets and Bills/Checks appeared on printed receipts for iOS users.

Identified - We've identified an issue where notes added to Open Tickets on Square Point of Sale, and Bills/Checks on Square for Restaurants appear on receipts for iOS users.

Our team is implementing a fix for this issue in version 5.94 updates for these apps, which will be available from the iOS App Store soon. We'll continue to provide further updates as they come to hand, thanks for your patience as we've worked to resolve this issue.
