Resolved - We've resolved the earlier issue we saw with Square Online website item pages not loading correctly in Safari web browsers.

Investigating - We're currently investigating an issue where Square Online websites are not correctly displaying item pages when viewed with Safari web browsers. For the time being, we recommend Square sellers and customers browsing Square Online websites use Chrome or Firefox web browsers.

Resolved - We've identified a scenario where sellers who have edited their original Square account GST tax are not seeing GST appear on transactions run through Point of Sale. If this tax is edited in such a way that the tax does not meet guidelines for GST, the tax will not show as GST on a receipt.

If you would like to show GST correctly on your receipts, please do not edit the GST from a 10% inclusive tax. You can view your tax settings, make sure they are set up correctly for your business and create new taxes via your Square Dashboard at https://squareup.com/dashboard/business/manual-taxes

Update - Our team has implemented a temporary solution to this disruption. Sellers not able to sync their item inventory may log out and log back into the Square for Retail application to resume the syncing of inventory.

Please note that if you have a current inventory count draft, logging out and back in will cause the draft counts to be permanently deleted.

Also note that Items can still be created in-app without logging out, by going to More > Items > Create Item.

A permanent solution will be included in an upcoming update, we expect this update to be available in the next day or two. Thank you for your patience as the team works to address this disruption.
